The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Klaus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Shelton tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Klaus moves into the clinch.

Klaus breaks from the clinch.

Klaus instigates a clinch.

Klaus decides to pull guard.
Shelton really is a fat lump.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Klaus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Klaus pulls Shelton in close to his closed guard and prevents Shelton from doing any damage or advancing position.
Shelton wants to get up but he can't break Klaus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Shelton throws a strike but Klaus rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Klaus controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Klaus slips nicely into half guard.
Klaus works his way into side control.

Klaus is trying to get an arm triangle but Shelton is defending well.
A lull in the action here as Klaus stalls from top position.

Klaus throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Shelton has his hands clasped together but Klaus breaks the hold and Shelton is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Klaus!
