Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Myron Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrone Klaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyrone Klaus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Klaus moves into the clinch successfully.

Dean jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Dean looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Klaus throwing strikes from guard but Dean blocks nicely.
Klaus postures up in Dean's guard and throws a big left but Dean blocks it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klaus controls Dean momentarily but Dean frees himself.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Klaus is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tyrone Klaus.

Dean is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Klaus's half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dean in particular looking to stall.
Klaus has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dean is working away from the top position though.

Klaus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Dean has one foot on Klaus's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Dean is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Klaus presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Klaus drags the fight down to the ground.
Dean's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Dean gets to his feet - Klaus follows without any prompting.
Klaus throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dean really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dean gets caught napping as Klaus dives in and scores a takedown. Dean manages to retain guard.
Klaus is working Dean over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Klaus throws a body punch but Dean moves out of range.
Dean misses with a takedown attempt - Klaus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Klaus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dean to the ground. Klaus is now in Dean's guard.

Klaus wants to stand and escape but instead Dean has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Dean stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Klaus closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dean to the mat! Dean manages to get full guard.

Klaus wanted to stand there but Dean had control of the position.

Klaus drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dean looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dean looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dean!
Klaus is breathing heavily.

Dean decides to stand back up.

Dean moves into the clinch.
Klaus looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Klaus manages to pull guard.
Klaus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dean is one step ahead there.

Dean stands up and waves to Klaus to follow him.

Dean rushes Klaus and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dean pulls Klaus in close to prevent any damage.

Dean is looking to stand up but Klaus isn't so interested in that idea.

Dean wants to get back to his feet but Klaus is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Klaus throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dean tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Klaus is in Dean's guard.

Klaus wants to control from the top but Dean keeps moving.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Dean manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Dean avoids the attempt from Klaus to control.

A close second round but Tyrone Klaus will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Klaus drives through with a takedown into Dean's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Klaus wants to get up but he can't break Dean's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Dean wants to get back to his feet but Klaus is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dean is pulling down on Klaus's head. It's preventing any offense from Klaus, at least for the moment.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Klaus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Klaus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dean gets back to half guard.
Klaus wants to control but Dean is keeping him busy.
Klaus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dean haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dean is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Klaus is stalling here. Dean is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Klaus seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dean has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Klaus seems a little lost for a moment, as Dean dominates the positioning.

Dean has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Klaus missing with a left hand there. Dean was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Klaus gets a takedown into half guard.

Klaus wants to get back to his feet.
Klaus takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Dean holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Klaus is pressing down on Dean's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dean is holding on for now.
Dean has his hands clasped together around Klaus's back. He's all about the action.

Dean gets tackled into the cage by Klaus. Klaus maintains the clinch.

Dean jumps guard and drags Klaus to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Dean's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

I would just about give that final round to Tyrone Klaus.
