PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Saurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Don't Worry, Be Happy! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saurus throws an overhand right that lands on Miller's shoulder, as Miller tries to avoid the shot.
Miller fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Saurus is out of range.
Saurus misses with a lunging right hand
and Saurus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Saurus shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Saurus connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hugo Miller decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
