The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to work over Masters's front leg with a kick but Masters checks it.
Masters shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jackson misses with a body shot.
Jackson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Zac Masters has been cut.
Masters on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Jackson misses with a head kick.
Masters blocks a jab.
Masters shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Masters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Masters on that attempt.
Xavier Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zac Masters.

Xavier Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Masters doesn't seem bothered though.

Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Masters moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Masters is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson drops Masters with a huge uppercut! Masters drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Jackson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
