The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries throws a right hand that Kloesov ducks under and follows up with a left that Kloesov also avoids with ease.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kloesov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jeffries lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kloesov circles away quickly and effectively.

It looks like Oliver Kloesov has been cut.
We've been hearing good reports from Jeffries's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kloesov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jeffries can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Kloesov can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
