Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antifanz Del Norte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Del Norte comes to the cage accompanied by La Coka Nostra - Malverde Market. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Antifanz Del Norte!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Stone!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Del Norte manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Stone tries to sprawl but Del Norte drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Del Norte is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Del Norte tries to pass to full mount but Stone defends it.
Stone is looking for a sweep. Del Norte is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stone controlling the position well.

Del Norte is looking for a kimura here.
Stone is trying to maintain the position but Del Norte is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stone manages to get to full guard.
Del Norte stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stone stands and throws Del Norte's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Stone is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
It looks like Stone might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Del Norte parries the strikes from Stone easily there. Stone is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Del Norte to escape.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Paul Stone wasn't active enough on the ground.

Del Norte moves into the clinch.
Del Norte is looking to break free of the clinch but Stone has double underhooks.
Del Norte is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Del Norte wants to take the fight to the mat but Stone manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Stone drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Del Norte gets the underhooks and prevents it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Stone has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Del Norte is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Del Norte. Del Norte gets slowly back to his feet.
Del Norte misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Del Norte looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stone fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stone has Del Norte pressed against the cage, preventing Del Norte from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Stone has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Del Norte is trying to keep an underhook but Stone manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Stone. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Del Norte swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stone might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Del Norte haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Antifanz Del Norte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Del Norte tries to bum rush Stone with a series of wild strikes but Stone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.

Del Norte lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stone!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paul Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Horrible takedown by Del Norte or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone which made him look bad.

Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there.
Stone seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Del Norte is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stone pulls his head out easily.

Stone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Del Norte is just riding it out for now. Stone eventually gives up the hold.

Paul Stone is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stone turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stone manages to end up in side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I've got Stone winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
