Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Doe is predictable there
and Rex counters with a nice body kick.
Rex lands a slapping body shot.
Rex tries to clinch
and Doe counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rex won't be happy with that.
Rex being controlled for a moment.
Rex tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Doe takes a little break here. Rex wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Doe advances nicely into full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rex is trying to escape the mount.
Doe has control of Rex's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Rex regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Doe controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rex wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Doe biding his time, looking for the opening.
Doe has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Rex is in real trouble here. Doe gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Rex is tapping out! Doe wins by rear naked choke!
