PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slenderman Creeper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jordan comes to the cage accompanied by Headstrong- Trapt. Slenderman Creeper is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Slenderman Creeper!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan gets tackled into the cage by Creeper. Creeper maintains the clinch.

Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jordan.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Creeper wants to get back to his feet.
Jordan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Jordan moves into full mount!

Jordan has control of Creeper's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Creeper regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Jordan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Creeper is looking to escape.

Jordan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Creeper keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Creeper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jordan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Creeper is wriggling around trying to escape.

Jordan stands up from mount. Strange move.
Creeper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jordan.
Jordan misses with a head kick.
Creeper tries to clinch up but Jordan circles away and keeps his distance.
Creeper moves in looking to clinch but Jordan pushes him off.
Jordan dives in for a single leg takedown but Creeper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Creeper.

Creeper blocks the elbow strike.
Creeper is looking to control Jordan's arms but Jordan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Creeper has his back to the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jordan.

Jordan breaks from the clinch.
Creeper is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jordan keeps the fight on the outside.
Creeper works over Jordan's head and body with a nice combination.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown but Creeper shows good takedown defense.
Jordan dives in for a single leg takedown but Creeper sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Creeper tries to pull guard but Jordan holds him up against the cage and eventually Creeper drops back down to his feet.

Creeper uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown but Creeper shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

so Jordan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jordan passes into half guard.
Jordan is trying to control. Creeper wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Creeper wants to get back to his feet.

Creeper is not content to let Jordan control the position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We're going to have a standup here because Jonathan Jordan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Creeper tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jordan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jordan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jordan manages to end up in side control.

Jordan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Creeper will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jordan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Creeper avoids it really well and circles away.
Creeper moves in looking to clinch but Jordan pushes him off.

Jordan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jordan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Creeper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Creeper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Jordan goes for a takedown attempt but Creeper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Jordan gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jordan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Creeper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Creeper is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jordan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jordan's back!
Creeper really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Jordan.
Jordan breaks Creeper's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Jordan prevents Creeper from getting back to his feet.

Creeper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jordan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Creeper tries to get to full guard but Jordan has control of the leg.
Jonathan Jordan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jonathan Jordan.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jordan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
