Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 wins, 2 losses and 0 draws, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Halo!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.



The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo cracks Grimson with an open hand slap.
Grimson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Halo is looking to chop away at Grimson's legs.
A big left from Grimson misses.
Grimson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Halo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Halo lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Stu Grimson has been cut.
Grimson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Xtreme MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Halo.
Halo has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Grimson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Halo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Grimson.
Halo throws a shot to the body.
Grimson thows a body shot but no joy.
Halo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Grimson is out of range and Halo settles back down.
Halo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Grimson can pounce on him.
A chopping leg kick lands by Grimson.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grimson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Grimson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Halo.
Grimson misses with a wild body shot.
Grimson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Halo.
Ken Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halo misses with a body shot.
Halo swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Grimson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
An inside leg kick lands from Grimson.
Grimson misses with a body kick.
Halo sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Halo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Halo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Left hook, right uppercut from Grimson.

It looks like Ken Halo has been cut.
Halo looks winded!
Grimson avoids a kick to the body.
Halo gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Grimson counters with a nice body kick.
Grimson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Grimson connects with a solid leg kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Grimson - that will leave a mark!
Grimson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Grimson lands a big uppercut and Halo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Halo looks OK. Grimson waves Halo back to his feet!

Halo is rocked!
Crunch! Grimson slams his shin into Halo's torso.
Halo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Grimson.
Grimson batters Halo with a massive right followed by a huge left! Halo is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Grimson lands a final crushing right hand to drop Halo to the mat with a gruesome thud! Grimson is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Stu Grimson!
During a confident post fight interview, Stu Grimson thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
