The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jr looks to land a combination but Scott avoids it well.

Scott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Scott moves nicely into side control.
Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Scott has hold of Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Jr seems comfortable defending it but Scott has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Scott couldn't care less - he's delighted!
