Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Meredith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Couture is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture tries to close the distance and clinch up but Meredith swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Couture has had enough of the clinch but Meredith keeps him there for the moment.
Meredith wants to break the clinch but can't.

Couture lands a nice shot to the body.

Couture closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Meredith to the mat! Meredith manages to get full guard.

Couture had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Meredith is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Couture Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Meredith's back instead.
