Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jango Fett wasn't active enough on the ground.
Chim shoots in looking for a takedown. Fett tries to sprawl out of it but Chim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fett has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Chim is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fett.

Fett dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chim. That did some damage!

Chim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fett scores with a leg kick.
Chim blocks a jab.
Chim throws a jab but it's blocked by Fett.
Chim takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

The fighters circle momentarily. Chim darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Chim's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fett connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Chim scrambles back to his feet.
Chim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fett was well out of range. Poor timing from Chim.
A punch lands to the side of Fett 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fett throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Fett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chim.

Fett shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chim pinned against the cage. Chim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
