Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abraham Hubbard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ed Barton!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Watson and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hubbard tries to sprawl but Barton drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hubbard is concentrating on defense, preventing Barton from advancing position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Barton lands a nice short elbow.
Hubbard is looking to improve his position.
Hubbard is staying active underneath Barton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Barton sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hubbard defending well though.
Barton is trying to control the action in half guard but Hubbard is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hubbard taking some punishment here, with Barton in his half guard.
Hubbard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Barton frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hubbard is desperately trying to improve his position but Barton has a good base and remains in mount.
Hubbard tries to hold on but Barton pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hubbard is looking to improve his position but Barton isn't that keen on the idea.
Barton fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barton can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hubbard is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barton looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Hubbard covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
