PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolas Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Buffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes into the arena with Big booty bitches blaring out of the sound system. Bruce Buffer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Smith misses.
Buffer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been told by Smith's head coaches at HARRY'S that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Buffer slaps away a takedown attempt from Smith, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buffer defends it nicely.

Buffer takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smith goes for a double leg but Buffer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buffer continues to drive forward.

Smith jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Buffer walks away with a smile on his face. Smith gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buffer swivels and escapes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Buffer.
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Buffer moves away.

Smith swings for the body but Buffer moves out of range.
Buffer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Buffer is looking to chop away at Smith's legs.
Buffer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Buffer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Buffer throws a body punch but Smith moves out of range.
Smith throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Smith swings for the body but Buffer moves out of range.

Smith drives through with a takedown into Buffer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Buffer wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Smith is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Buffer can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
