Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Ventura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tio Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ventura comes to the cage accompanied by Tech N9ne - So Dope. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Ventura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tio Malone!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Malone enables Ventura to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Malone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ventura working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Ventura wants to control from the top but Malone keeps moving.
Ventura throws an elbow that misses. Malone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ventura's guard. Nice move by Malone!
Malone stops Ventura from standing up.
My spies in Ryōzanpaku Dojo inform me that Malone has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Malone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Malone wants to stand but Ventura has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Malone seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ventura misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Malone to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Ryan Ventura has been cut.
Ventura walks forward, straight into a front kick from Malone.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Malone lands a jab to the head.
Ventura shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Malone but Malone pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A decent looking cross lands there for Malone.

Malone feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ventura sprawling to the canvas! Ventura rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Malone finish him?!

Ventura is rocked!

Ryan Ventura's cut is getting worse.

Malone measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Ventura! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
