Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Duke Ellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Scalante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Scalante's choice of entrance music: Started from the bottom. Rocky Scalante told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellington lands a nice looking body shot.

Scalante tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Ellington throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scalante stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Scalante has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
