Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tracy Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Payton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tracy Flores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gary Payton!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Payton tries to avoid it but Flores manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Payton to the ground. Payton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Payton darts in and clinches Flores up against the cage.
Flores tries a knee to the head but Payton blocks it.
Flores takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Tracy Flores has been cut.
Payton lands an elbow just above Flores 's eye.

Tracy Flores's cut is getting worse.
Flores fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Payton obliges.
Flores tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Payton smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tracy Flores. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Payton moves into range and clinches up with Flores.
Payton has Flores pushed against the cage.
Payton tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Flores takes an elbow to the forehead.
Payton misses with a knee to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Payton lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Tracy Flores's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Flores is pressed against the cage. Payton pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Flores! Two more big strikes from Payton and Flores crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

After winning the bout, Gary Payton thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
