Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Nile misses its intended target.
Nile lands with a good body shot.
Nile punishes McGowen's body with a nice straight punch.
King Nile seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nile wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nile chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McGowen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nile.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGowen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McGowen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Gabriel McGowen has been cut.
Nile wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've been hearing reports that McGowen has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Nile lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McGowen at a distance.
McGowen is breathing heavily.
Nile lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

McGowen stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nile.

Nile drops McGowen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McGowen looks back up at him and smiles so Nile waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McGowen is rocked!

McGowen is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Nile doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! McGowen crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in McGowen's bad books for that mishap!
