The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hunter sprawls well initially but Davis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Davis controlling the pace.

Davis seems to be working for a kimura but Hunter defends the submission attempt.
Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davis on the ground.

Hunter actively working from the bottom here.
Davis is trying to control the action in half guard but Hunter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hunter is defending against the submission attempts here by Davis.
Davis moves nicely into side control.

Davis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hunter!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Davis looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Davis is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hunter to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hunter shrugs it off.
Hunter wants to get back to his feet.

Davis wants to finish this one by submission but Hunter is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Davis.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davis wants to control the pace but Hunter is squirming around nicely.

Davis quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Davis but it's paid off an Hunter is forced to tap! Nice work by Davis.
