Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anton Lewandowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peterson has chosen Diamond as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anton Lewandowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Peterson!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lewandowski.
Peterson fails to land the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lewandowski.
Lewandowski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Peterson moves in looking to clinch but Lewandowski pushes him off.
Peterson misses with a head kick.
Peterson avoids the head kick by Lewandowski.

Peterson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Peterson trying to control but Lewandowski is having none of it.
Lewandowski is trying to escape the mount.

Lewandowski holds on to Peterson as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Peterson is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Peterson looking to control but Lewandowski is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lewandowski tries to reverse the position but Peterson maintains control.

Peterson has control of Lewandowski's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lewandowski regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Lewandowski can't escape the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Peterson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Lewandowski is on top in guard.
Lewandowski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lewandowski throws a big right hand that misses.

Peterson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lewandowski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Peterson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lewandowski's back instead.

Peterson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lewandowski has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Peterson is trying to stick to Lewandowski's back but Lewandowski is turning into Peterson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Peterson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lewandowski.

Peterson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewandowski can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Peterson has momentary wrist control but Lewandowski slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lewandowski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Victor Peterson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Lewandowski counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Peterson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lewandowski escapes and throws Peterson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewandowski lands a nice forearm strike.
Peterson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Lewandowski on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lewandowski tries to get out of the position.
Lewandowski tries to roll over but Peterson keeps him under control.
Lewandowski won't allow Peterson to pass to mount.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lewandowski moves into full guard.
Peterson trying to control but Lewandowski is working from the bottom.
Lewandowski controls Peterson momentarily but Peterson frees himself.
Peterson wants to get up but he can't break Lewandowski's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Peterson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lewandowski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lewandowski has escaped and now he's on top!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Peterson throws a right and a left that Lewandowski avoids nicely.

Peterson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lewandowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lewandowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lewandowski controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Peterson is looking for a triangle but Lewandowski pushes his legs off easily.
Peterson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lewandowski's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lewandowski has a closed guard, preventing Peterson from standing up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Peterson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Lewandowski is defending well. Peterson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Lewandowski has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Peterson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
