The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ellenbogen but Ellenbogen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ellenbogen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boxen quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ellenbogen is pressing down on Boxen's thigh, looking to free his foot. Boxen is holding on for now.

Ellenbogen can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boxen is looking to escape.

Ellenbogen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boxen haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
