Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dwain Mcmillan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfred Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alfred Davis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dwain Mcmillan's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mcmillan avoids it really well and circles away.
Davis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mcmillan swivels and escapes.
Mcmillan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Davis closes the distance and clinches up with Mcmillan, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes Mcmillan against the cage but Mcmillan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dwain Mcmillan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alfred Davis.
Davis dives in and grabs Mcmillan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mcmillan pushes down on Davis's head and hops out.
Mcmillan misses with an uppercut.
Alfred Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcmillan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Mcmillan moves into the clinch.
Mcmillan tries to land a knee to the head but Davis blocks with his arms.
Davis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mcmillan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Davis has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mcmillan regains guard immediately.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mcmillan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Davis won't allow Mcmillan to get back to his feet.
Davis connects with a couple of short punches.
Mcmillan wants to get back to his feet but Davis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mcmillan has his foot on Davis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davis works his way back into a safe position though.
Mcmillan wants to stand up but Davis is controlling him.
Davis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Davis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Davis lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Mcmillan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcmillan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Davis defends well.

Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcmillan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Davis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Mcmillan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mcmillan is looking for a triangle but Davis pushes his legs off easily.
Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mcmillan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mcmillan is rocked!
Davis stands up over Mcmillan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Mcmillan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mcmillan's head.

Mcmillan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Davis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Davis is working Mcmillan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Davis postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Mcmillan covers up, he's hurt! Davis keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Davis and the ref steps in to end the fight! Davis can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
