The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trauma stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Oliveira.
Oliveira throws a head kick that misses.
Trauma tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Oliveira tries to clinch there but Trauma circles away.

Oliveira drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Oliveira looking to sit in guard and control but Trauma gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Trauma takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
We've been informed that Trauma has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Trauma fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oliveira, pushing him back against the cage.
Oliveira takes an elbow to the forehead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Thiago Oliveira wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Blunt Trauma seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
