Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Clow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choel Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Clow has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kyle Clow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Choel Six!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six connects with a nice looking jab.
Six tries to clinch but Clow moves out of range.
Six fails to land the takedown.
Kyle Clow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Six dives in and grabs Clow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Clow pushes down on Six's head and hops out.

Clow moves into the clinch.

Clow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Clow decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Six tries to get to full guard but Clow has control of the leg.
Clow seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Six tries to roll over but Clow keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clow looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Six is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Clow scores with a couple of nice shots.
Clow throwing shots but Six is blocking nicely.

Clow decides to stand up.
Six with a poor takedown

and Clow counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kyle Clow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Choel Six.

Clow stands up from guard. Let's bang!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Clow has managed to clinch.
Clow stalling the fight.
Six is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Six goes for a takedown in the clinch but Clow prevents it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Clow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Six tries to clinch there but Clow circles away.

Clow closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Six did well to prevent Clow getting side control.
Clow drops an elbow to the side of Six's head.

Clow is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Six looking for submissions off his back.
Clow tries to pass to full mount but Six defends it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Six trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Six bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Clow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Six doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Six manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Clow is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Six postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Clow has momentary wrist control but Six slips an elbow through the middle.
Six lands a couple of digs.
Clow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Six slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Six trying to control the action but Clow is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Six has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Clow!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kyle Clow dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Clow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Clow distracts Six with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Six looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Six lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Clow!
Six wants to control the action but instead Clow gets a body lock and reverses into Six's guard! Nice work!
Clow slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Six doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clow stands and throws Six's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Clow working the ground and pound from side control.
Six regains half guard.
Six is trying to get back to full guard.
Clow working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Six wants to control but Clow is keeping busy.
Clow drops an elbow to the side of Six's head.
Six tries to get to full guard but Clow has control of the leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Six makes his way to full guard, as Clow worked for a kimura.
Clow works over Six with some ground and pound from guard.
Six should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Six is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Clow is aware though and is defending well.

Clow trying to control the position from guard on top but Six is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Six is rocked!
Clow loads up on a big left hand. Six felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Clow looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Six can't hide his disappointment, as Clow celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Clow!
In his post fight interview, Kyle Clow gave a big smile as he said 'thank you fans out there,cant do it without you.'.
