The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane moves in looking to clinch but Juarez pushes him off.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Juarez.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Juarez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Kane is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Juarez asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Juarez wants to get up but he can't break Kane's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kane jumps guard but Juarez stands there with Kane around his waist. Kane gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kane gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Kane fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Juarez to the ground. Kane is now in Juarez's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kane throws a left and a right that both miss
and Juarez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Juarez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Juarez stands and steps away. Kane gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Kane manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Juarez is trying to trip Kane. He has hold of a leg but Kane is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Juarez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
