Carzola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Carzola is looking for submissions but instead, Kramer has regained full guard.

Carzola closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kramer felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Carzola is just content to waste time from the top position. Kramer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Carzola has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
