Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ihsan Ali!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cleveland steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ali. That one must have hurt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ali, right into the meat.
Ali feints and then cracks Cleveland's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cleveland down.
Ali lands with a slapping head kick.
Cleveland rushes Ali and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ali tries to circle away but Cleveland has him pinned against the cage.
Cleveland has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ali clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Ali manages to reverse the position and now he's in Cleveland's guard. Nice work there by Ali.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ali drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cleveland dives on top into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ali had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cleveland defends it easily.
Ali keeping moving, preventing Cleveland from controlling successfully.
Ali has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Sydney. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cleveland thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ali looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ali is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cleveland's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Ali is working an open guard so Cleveland takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Ali throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cleveland.
Ali throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A head kick from Ali lands but Cleveland takes it in his stride.
Cleveland moves out of range of the body kick from Ali.
Ali throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ali throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cleveland.
Cleveland is rocked!
Ali connects with an inside leg kick.
Oh Cleveland is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ali throws a powerful right kick. Cleveland tried to block low but the kick was high! Cleveland was taken right off of his feet! Ali jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ihsan Ali!
Our winner, Ihsan Ali, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
