Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Berkowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berkowitz has chosen Macabre - Son Of Sam as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. David Berkowitz is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Berkowitz!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Dakker Kane has been cut.
Both fighters circling a little - Kane finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A lazy left from Kane finds it's target.
Berkowitz ducks under a wild hook from Kane.
We've been informed that Berkowitz has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Kane misses with a body kick.
Kane gets a double leg takedown into Berkowitz's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kane looking to sit in guard and control but Berkowitz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kane is looking for a triangle here but Berkowitz uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Berkowitz is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kane will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kane is looking to regain half guard here but Berkowitz keeps moving and retains side control.
Berkowitz is staying tight to Kane's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Kane tries to buck Berkowitz off but Berkowitz is having none of it.
Berkowitz wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kane keeps working.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by David Berkowitz.
Berkowitz scores with a jab. Kane acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Dakker Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane throws a leg kick but Berkowitz moved away.

and Berkowitz makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kane lands a lovely overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kane jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Berkowitz moves away from the strike by Kane.
David Berkowitz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kane cracks Berkowitz with an open hand slap.
Kane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Berkowitz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Berkowitz is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A head kick from Kane lands but Berkowitz takes it in his stride.
Kane swings for the body but Berkowitz moves out of range.
Kane misses the body punch
and Berkowitz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kane is rocked!
Berkowitz with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Oh Kane is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berkowitz gets a clinch.
Berkowitz manages to break the clinch.
Berkowitz sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Kane's defenses. It connects perfectly with Kane's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). David Berkowitz!
A relieved looking David Berkowitz thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
