Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Smith moves into range and connects with a jab.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Stan Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lee on the side of the head.
Lee gets a clinch.
Lee unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Lee misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Smith .

Smith has clasped his hands together around Lee's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Smith thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.
Smith is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.
Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lee takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lee throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smith throws out the jab.

Lee is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Lee.
Lee throws a push kick but Smith slaps the foot to one side.
Lee takes a jab right on the kisser.
Smith thows a body shot but no joy.
Lee tries to work over Smith 's front leg with a kick but Smith checks it.
Lee swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Smith counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lee!

Smith landing a few strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith tries to move to mount but Lee blocks the move with his legs.
Lee parries the strikes from Smith easily there. Smith is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lee to escape.
Smith staying calm.
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee can't do much from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Smith dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lee gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Smith .
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lee throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Smith digs a good hook to Lee's body.
Smith takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Stan Smith has been cut.
Lee clinches up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Smith looking for a takedown.

Smith is trying to push Lee away but Lee has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Smith has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lee after a bit of a struggle.
General Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stan Smith .
Lee lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Smith is trying to break free.
Smith has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lee is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Smith wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage.

General Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith misses with an uppercut.
Lee closes the distance and pushes Smith back into the cage.
Lee goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Smith 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lee misses with a body kick.
General Lee is winning the standup battle so far.
Smith jabs Lee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith .
Lee throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Smith connects with a looping right hand.

Smith has his takedown stuffed
and Lee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Smith has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lee scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Lee tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range.
Lee gets caught napping as Smith dives in and scores a takedown. Lee manages to retain guard.

Lee pulls Smith in close to his closed guard and prevents Smith from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Smith has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.
A cross from Smith lands.
Lee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Smith throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Smith digs a good hook to Lee's body.
Smith bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lee's head.

Lee misses the shot to the body.
Smith connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Smith lands with a nice body punch.
Smith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Smith takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Lee motions for Smith to come forward. Lee throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lee walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smith checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Smith takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A punch lands to the side of Lee 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lee throws a half hearted mid kick.
Smith shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lee thows a body shot but no joy.
Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lee buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Lee rushes Smith and presses him up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lee is trying to keep an underhook but Smith manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Lee tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control.

Smith is stalling here. Lee is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Smith seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lee has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Stan Smith .
