Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Mastain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen Requiem For A Dream as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mastain dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lesnar gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Lesnar drops his hands momentarily and Mastain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mastain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Mastain clinches up against the cage.

Mastain is pressed up against the cage. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mastain down to the mat. Mastain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dave Mastain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar .
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lesnar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mastain.
Lesnar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mastain.
Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Mastain sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lesnar shoots in looking for a takedown. Mastain tries to sprawl out of it but Lesnar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mastain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lesnar is trying desperately to land a takedown but Mastain is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Lesnar .
Mastain connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Lesnar 's hands.

Mastain dips a shoulder and cracks Lesnar with a mighty uppercut! Lesnar falls back against the cage and Mastain unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lesnar is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mastain screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
