Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leon Spinx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Padilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Padilla does no damage.
Padilla works Spinx's body with a nice hook.
Padilla lands a glancing blow to the side of Spinx's head.
Padilla lands a left and a right that sends Spinx crashing to the canvas! Padilla dives into mount looking to finish!

Spinx is rocked!
Padilla tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Oh Spinx is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Spinx is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Spinx seems to have got his legs back now.

Padilla takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Spinx tries to bum rush Padilla with a series of wild strikes but Padilla uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spinx misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Padilla misses with a straight left.
Padilla throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Leon Spinx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No joy there for Spinx, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
