Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cristiano Chico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Jones!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chico takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Good exchange - Jones coming out on top.
No joy there for Chico, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chico changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Chico manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Chico looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Jones lands with a big right hook that stumbles Chico - he's out on his feet here! Jones follows up with another monster hook that separates Chico from consciousness! Chico falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jones stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
