The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lewis doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pineda counters with a two punch combo.
Lewis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lewis misses with a body shot.
Pineda misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pineda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lewis.
Lewis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pineda's waist but Pineda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lewis off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lewis darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pineda is pressing down on Lewis's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Lewis gets to his feet. Pineda looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lewis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pineda circles away quickly and effectively.

Pineda closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lewis's guard.

Lewis has his feet on Pineda's thighs here. He's pushed Pineda off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pineda screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
