Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Siss Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Newton Guthrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Siss Morrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Newton Guthrie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guthrie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Guthrie sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Morrow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guthrie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Morrow is looking for a kimura but Guthrie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Morrow to get the leverage.
Guthrie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Morrow works his foot free and advances to mount.
Morrow trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Morrow tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Guthrie in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Morrow tries to control but Guthrie wriggling away.
Guthrie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Morrow lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Morrow trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Morrow lands a couple of good shots and Guthrie has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
It looks like Newton Guthrie has been cut.
Morrow trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Guthrie doesn't escape.

Morrow throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Morrow is landing with strikes from the back.
Guthrie is rocked!
Morrow is loading up with his shots from the back and Guthrie is in big trouble! Guthrie taps out to strikes and the fight is over!
