Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ash Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatsu Matsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berry comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chilli Pipers - Clocks. Matsu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Ash Berry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Hatsu Matsu!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berry tries to sprawl but Matsu drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Berry trying to hold on to Matsu's head to control him but Matsu postures up.
Berry is looking to improve his position.
Berry has his hands clasped together around Matsu's back. He's all about the action.
Matsu throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Berry blocking the ground and pound attempt from Matsu.
Matsu is looking to pass Berry's guard but actually Berry recovers to full guard.

Matsu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

We've been hearing reports that Berry has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Berry is staying active underneath Matsu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Berry is staying active underneath Matsu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

My spies in Warrior Dogs inform me that Matsu has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Matsu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Berry is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Matsu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Matsu's back!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Hatsu Matsu will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Berry throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Matsu.

Matsu tries to move into range but Berry moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Matsu sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Poor strikes thrown by Matsu there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Matsu lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Matsu avoids the attempt from Berry to control.
Matsu looking to ground and pound but Berry is blocking nicely.

Matsu lands a nice shot to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Berry wants to hold on but Matsu pushes him away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hatsu Matsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Matsu tries to bum rush Berry with a series of wild strikes but Berry uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Matsu chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Berry can pounce on him.

Hatsu Matsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Matsu throws a right hand that Berry ducks under and follows up with a left that Berry also avoids with ease.

Matsu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Berry takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Matsu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Berry - the referee stops the clock and Matsu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Berry. Matsu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Matsu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Berry moves away.
Matsu misses with a wild body shot.

Berry gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Berry scores with a shot to the side of Matsu's head.
Matsu swings wildly with an uppercut but Berry uses good head movement to avoid it.

Matsu scores with a shoulder strike.
Matsu is looking to control Berry's arms but Berry gets an underhook and turns him. Now Matsu has his back to the cage.
Berry makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Berry misses with a shot to the kidneys.
A nice right hand lands inside from Berry.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berry digs a right hand into Matsu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Matsu's gas tank.

Matsu tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Berry's elbow.
A right hook to the body lands for Berry.
Matsu jumps guard but Berry stands there with Matsu around his waist. Matsu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Berry misses with some punches.
Berry scores with a shoulder strike.
Berry lands with a short shot to the head.
Berry fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Berry throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Matsus head.

Berry lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Matsu.
Berry throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Berry lands a hook that snaps the head of Matsu backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Berry creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Matsu is still on wobbly legs! Can Berry finish him?
Berry lands a left hand.
Berry pushes Matsu against the cage. Berry is working some dirty boxing. Berry pushes off with a quick right hook! Matsu goes down! Matsu tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Berry moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ash Berry!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Ash Berry waved his t-shirt featuring Milwaukee's Best 160 's logo in front of the cameras.
