The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Ali
and Cole counters with a series of strikes. Ali will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ali drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ali has eaten all the pies!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ali lands a few punches from side control.
Cole wants to control but Ali postures up.
Ali creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Cole sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
