Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Camron Shrefick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Pat Sumrall has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pat Sumrall seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shrefick swinging wildly here.
Sumrall throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Shrefick.
Sumrall scores with a leg kick.
Nice straight punches there by Sumrall. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sumrall.
Shrefick checks a low kick from Sumrall.
Sumrall throws a series of punches but Shrefick avoids them all with ease.
Shrefick misses with a head kick.

A head kick lands from Shrefick that sends Sumrall to the canvas. Sumrall tries to scramble back to his feet but Shrefick brings him back down into side control.

It looks like Pat Sumrall has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sumrall tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Shrefick decides to stand back up. Shrefick steps back and let's Sumrall get back to his feet.
Sumrall looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sumrall fails to land with a series of punches.
Sumrall pushes Shrefick away with a front kick.

Shrefick lands a left and a right that sends Sumrall crashing to the canvas! Shrefick dives into mount looking to finish!

Sumrall is rocked!
Shrefick sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Oh Sumrall is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sumrall seems to have got his legs back now.
Sumrall is looking to get to half guard.

Sumrall is squirming around, avoiding Shrefick's attempts to control the action.
Shrefick tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Shrefick is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shrefick stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Shrefick tries to close the distance and clinch but Sumrall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sumrall lands with a nice body punch.
A jab from Sumrall misses.
Shrefick checks the leg kick.
Camron Shrefick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A jab from Shrefick finds it's way through Sumrall's defenses.

Pat Sumrall's cut is getting worse.

Sumrall scores with a hook to the body. Shrefick takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Sumrall tries to clinch up.
Shrefick clobbers Sumrall with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sumrall throws an off balance right hand
and Shrefick counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Sumrall out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Shrefick is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
