Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddyy Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Eddyy Gonzales has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Eddyy Gonzales seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales throws a leg kick that misses.
Gonzales misses with a low kick as Alkofer jumps back.
Alkofer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gonzales enables Alkofer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gonzales manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Gonzales wants to stand up but Alkofer is controlling him.
Alkofer forces his way into half guard.
Gonzales tries to kick Alkofer off but Alkofer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Alkofer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alkofer trying to mount his opponent but Gonzales defends it.
Gonzales pushes Alkofer off looking to stand but Alkofer dives back in and keeps control.

Alkofer is working for a kimura but Gonzales is defending it quite comfortably.
Gonzales knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alkofer on the ground.
