Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marc Callahan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fatty Pig!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pig misses with a head kick.
Pig tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Callahan counters with a left to the body.
Pig doesn't manage to clinch there - Callahan circles away.

Pig darts in and clinches Callahan up against the cage.
Callahan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Pig tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

It looks like Marc Callahan has been cut.
Pig digs a right hand into Callahan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Callahan's gas tank.
Callahan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Pig breaks from the clinch.
Callahan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pig is wriggling around but Callahan manages to pass to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pig can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pig is trying to maintain the position but Callahan is very close to passing his half guard.
Pig works his way to full guard. Good work.
Pig really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Callahan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pig is looking to sweep but instead, Callahan has passed into half guard.

Callahan is looking for a kimura but Pig is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Callahan to get the leverage.

Callahan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pig goes for a double leg but Callahan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Callahan continues to drive forward.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Callahan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pig defends it nicely.

Fatty Pig showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Fatty Pig seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Pig jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Callahan walks away with a smile on his face. Pig gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fatty Pig comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pig has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
