Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Cabreros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabreros comes to the cage accompanied by Love is what i got. Mateus Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mateus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabreros looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Cabreros sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cabreros jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cabreros tries to work over Gracie's front leg with a kick but Gracie checks it.
Gracie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Gracie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cabreros stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Cabreros lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Cabreros shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Cabreros does a little dance to reset his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mateus Gracie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Good leg kick by Cabreros there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
