Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike darts in trying to clinch

and Kanor counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kanor.

Kanor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kanor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mike connects with a nice short shot to Kanor's temple.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mike shoots for a takedown but Kanor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kanor scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Kanor swats away the attempt to clinch by Mike.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kanor tries for a takedown but Mike sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kanor's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kanor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mike.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mike looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kanor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mike did well to prevent Kanor getting side control.

Mang Kanor has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Kanor shoots in looking for a takedown. Mike tries to sprawl out of it but Kanor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mike manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Mike counters with a head kick. That will keep Kanor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
