Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Acton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Acton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris doesn't manage to clinch there - Acton circles away.
Acton tries for a takedown but Norris sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Acton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Acton wants to work for an arm triangle but Norris is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Norris is staying active underneath Acton, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Norris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Acton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Norris works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Acton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Norris stuffs the takedown attempt from Acton. Acton gets slowly back to his feet.

Acton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norris swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Acton is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Acton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Acton has hold of Norris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Norris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Acton is landing with some decent strikes but Norris is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Acton is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Norris is forced to tap! Great finish!
