PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Jaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Coryatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coryatt has chosen Welcome 2 Houston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coryatt shoots in and drives through. Jaa sprawls well.
Coryatt fails with a takedown attempt.
Tony Jaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jaa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Coryatt is out of range and Jaa settles back down.
Coryatt fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jaa is out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jaa wants to stand up but Coryatt is controlling him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tony Jaa.
