Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Yee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Taylor !
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yee thuds his right hand into Taylor 's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Yee misses with a wild body shot.
Yee connects with a crisp jab.
Taylor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Taylor slips a straight right by Yee.
Taylor shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Taylor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jason Yee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jason Yee has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Taylor throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Yee jabs Taylor right on the nose. Taylor blinks but takes it well.

Taylor 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Taylor is trying to push Yee away but Yee has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Taylor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Taylor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Yee did well to prevent Taylor getting side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Yee will probably get the nod.

Yee plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Taylor swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Taylor face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
