Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Hardaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jock Mcfarker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcfarker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
An inside leg kick lands from Hardaway.

Hardaway clinches up with Mcfarker and pushes him back against the cage.

Hardaway gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mcfarker regains guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hardaway's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hardaway gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mcfarker jumps guard but Hardaway stands there with Mcfarker around his waist. Mcfarker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jared Hardaway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jock Mcfarker.

Mcfarker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hardaway walks away with a smile on his face. Mcfarker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hardaway has taken the fight to the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hardaway takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Hardaway is trying to trip Mcfarker. He has hold of a leg but Mcfarker is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hardaway persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Oh but Mcfarker is tightening it up a little... Hardaway has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hardaway reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hardaway taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mcfarker!
