Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sabin Figaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Figaro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Prospect - Warrior. Sabin Figaro could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lucas Lunar's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Lunar!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lunar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Figaro.
Lunar misses with a low kick as Figaro jumps back.
Lunar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Figaro swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Figaro stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lunar.
Figaro pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lunar is out of range and Figaro settles back down.
Lunar tries to close the distance and clinch but Figaro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Figaro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lunar - the referee stops the clock and Figaro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lunar. Figaro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Lunar looks to throw the jab but Figaro is out of range.

Figaro throws a front kick aimed at Lunar's knee but Lunar avoids it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Figaro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lunar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lunar feints and then cracks Figaro's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Figaro down.
Figaro shoots in for a double leg but Lunar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Figaro throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lunar tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Figaro is in Lunar's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sabin Figaro.

Lunar has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Figaro is working away from the top position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lunar throws a sloppy head kick

and Figaro counters with a single leg into guard. Lunar didn't expect that.
Figaro loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lunar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Figaro is controlling Lunar's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Lunar is keen to just control but Figaro is a slippery customer.
Sabin Figaro overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lunar is pressing down on Figaro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Figaro is holding on for now.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Figaro lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lunar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lunar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Lucas Lunar seems to be getting the better of the standup.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sabin Figaro will probably get the nod.

Lunar creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Figaro's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Figaro drops to his knees and Lunar pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A very excited looking Lucas Lunar rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
