Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rauno Repomies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gus Dengel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dengel has chosen Papillon as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Repomies as he connects with a hook.
Dengel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Repomies uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dengel.
Dengel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Repomies circles away.

Repomies scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Repomies is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dengel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dengel wants to control but Repomies postures up.
Repomies lands some shots froms side control.
Repomies postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Repomies wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dengel keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dengel is looking to reverse the position.

Dengel manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dengel in particular looking to stall.
Dengel is trying to control the action in half guard but Repomies is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Repomies moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gus Dengel wasn't active enough on the ground.

Dengel closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Repomies quickly recovers to half guard.
Repomies won't allow Dengel to pass to mount.
Repomies is staying active underneath Dengel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Dengel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Repomies haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Gus Dengel was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Dengel misses with a few strikes there.

Dengel thows a body shot but no joy.
Dengel tries to clinch but Repomies moves out of range.
Dengel throws a head kick that misses.
Dengel pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Repomies counters with a one-two to the body.
Dengel throws a sloppy head kick and Repomies moves out of range easily.
A low kick from Dengel misses
letting Repomies counter with a right hand.
Repomies lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Repomies looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Repomies pushes down on Dengel's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Repomies is working for a kimura but Dengel is defending it quite comfortably.

Repomies looks to land a strike but Dengel avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Repomies wants to control from the top but Dengel keeps moving.
Repomies trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Repomies controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Dengel wants to sweep but no luck.
Repomies throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Dengel misses with a body shot.
Dengel looks for a takedown but Repomies sprawls well.
Dengel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Repomies lands a jab to the nose.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dengel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Repomies has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Repomies and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Dengel is looking to score with low kicks.
Dengel fails with the takedown.
Repomies uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dengel has time to react.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Repomies! Dengel is out on his feet! Repomies rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Dengel is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Dengel is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
