The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calzaghe throws a head kick but Zordick moves out of range.
Calzaghe cracks Zordick with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Zordick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zordick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zordick is trying to get an arm triangle but Calzaghe is defending well.
Calzaghe tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Calzaghe throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Zordick has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Calzaghe!
Calzaghe swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Zordick can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Calzaghe is looking to escape.
BOOM! Zordick connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Zordick breaks from Calzaghe's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Zordick trying to control but Calzaghe is having none of it.
Calzaghe is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Calzaghe is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Calzaghe is squirming around, avoiding Zordick's attempts to control the action.

Zordick with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Calzaghe is trying to escape the mount but Zordick keeps good control and instead manages to take Calzaghe's back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zordick is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Calzaghe is tapping out! This one is all over!
