The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredrikson chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Scott looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Fredrikson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Scott.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Scott in particular looking to stall.
Fredrikson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fredrikson tries to get out of the position.

Scott decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Scott's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fredrikson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Scott scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Frank Scott has been cut.
Fredrikson throws a jab but it's blocked by Scott.
Scott closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fredrikson circles away.
Fredrikson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Fredrikson sends Scott crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fredrikson is motioning to the referee to let Scott up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fredrikson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Scott.
Scott looks winded!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Scott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fredrikson - the referee stops the clock and Scott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fredrikson. Scott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fredrikson instigates a clinch.
Fredrikson has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Scott - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Fredrikson, and another! Scott is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
