And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kane Velasquez!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Velasquez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ming did well to prevent Velasquez getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Velasquez throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ming because Velasquez loaded up on that one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velasquez cracks Ming with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Velasquez lands a big shot there that rocks Ming but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
